It’s been a busy week for activities, as is par for the course here at The Cedars. Last evening, we had the Men In Harmony chorus entertain nearly 100 people both from The Cedars and from the McPherson community as a whole. If you’ve not heard these guys, than you haven’t heard good barbershop! This morning, as we do every Friday morning, residents gathered at The Courts for coffee, fellowship, and a Thanksgiving sing-along. Still not sure how “Old McDonald Had a Farm” is Thanksgiving music, but I’ll leave that up to our resident pianist, Royal, to explain.
This afternoon, I’m sure our regulars will be gathering in the fitness center to enjoy a few frames of Wii bowling, and perhaps a round of Wii Golf. Last week, I was embarrassed on the 9th hole and lost by one stroke, so I mean to make up for it this week! Tonight at 7 is our monthly Movie Night in the conference center, bumped up a week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. “The Ultimate Gift” will be shown with the whole movie experience, including popcorn and snacks provided by our Activities Committee.
