The floor plan is one level with no elevations and is designed for accessibility as you age. “It’s important for people to love where they live and feel safe,” said LaMonte Rothrock, CEO at The Cedars. “We have built our independent senior living homes to be a comfortable, lovely place to live, and one benefit to our independent living residents is as they age, they will have access to other housing options including assisted living if needed.”
The homes are on the perimeter of The Cedars campus which features lush green spaces, gardens, and benches and gazebos for sitting after a leisurely stroll. Green spaces are great for mental and physical health and studies have shown that people who live near green spaces have less anxiety, reduced stress, and even improved blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
